Alex’s journey to 100
Eighty-five seen.
Fifteen still calling.
My project record stood at 85 of the 100 wonders visited on 13 September 2026. The list below reflects the October 2026 swap: Belize Barrier Reef is now number 99 and is still to discover. The total remains 85 visited and 15 still to explore.

The list is a beginning.
I’ve travelled to over 100 countries, but there is still a remarkable variety of experiences ahead: the ice of Antarctica, gorillas in their forest habitat, Pacific isolation and the reefs of Raja Ampat.
This page records progress. Personal travel accounts and photographs will appear when there is a real story to share.
The journeys still ahead
Planning the journeys still ahead.
Five editorial planning essays explore future journeys, including the Philippine rice terraces, now an Honourable Mention. Belize Barrier Reef joins the remaining fifteen above. These are ideas for future travel, not announced bookings or first-person trip reports.
