The ice front of Perito Moreno Glacier

The travel workbench

Build a journey with breathing room.

Choose your places and bases, record the connections you have checked, and turn them into a day-by-day outline.

Before you book: use the journey check to find missing transfer research, connections that need reviewing after reordering, and compressed stays.

Check my saved plans

Your working itinerary.

This is a planning workbench, not a timetable service. Travel hours and connection details are entered by you. Unchecked connections remain clearly flagged.

Notes and budget

The day-by-day outline.

The outline allocates the days you choose at each base. Entered transport hours are rounded up to whole travel days using eight hours per day as a planning assumption, not a prediction of your route. Unknown connections add no estimated time and stay flagged, so the total is incomplete until you resolve them.

Start with the names

Ambiguous or unrecognised names are shown for review. The tool only matches the current 500-place collection; it does not send your plan to another service.

Compare the pace of a journey

Compare the shape of a trip

Choose several places using your device’s multiple-selection control. On a computer, hold Ctrl or Command as you select.

After saving, your journey appears in the workbench above. Reorder the stops, adjust nights and add costs there.

Check your saved journey

Does the plan make sense?

The check uses your saved plan and clearly labelled planning heuristics. It does not create transport services, infer border access or promise that connections can be booked.
