The story of a place
A Roman aqueduct anchoring a remarkably varied historic city.
Segovia's aqueduct is the defining first sight, but the cathedral, old streets and Alcázar create a much broader urban experience. The city rewards a route that connects them rather than a quick photograph beneath the arches.
Its position and skyline become clearer from viewpoints outside the busiest centre. Allow time to see the city as a whole as well as from within.
