Iguazú is difficult to understand from a single lookout. From one position the falls become a great arc across the landscape; from another they become noise, spray and moving water close at hand. The forest between viewpoints is part of the experience. Allow a little time to look away from the river and notice the living habitat that surrounds it.
A second side is a separate outing with a border crossing, not a spare hour at the end of the first. Check both parks' current arrangements before combining them.
