Summary

Dinosaur Provincial Park is a badlands landscape in Alberta, Canada, with important dinosaur fossils. Erosion exposes both intricate landforms and evidence of ancient life within the Red Deer River valley.

The scenery and the fossils belong to the same story. The weathered ground reveals why the remains can be studied here, making the park compelling as landscape and as a record of vanished ecosystems.
